Vehicle Detail

This is a custom 1950 GMC COE cab cradle mounted on a 1972 chevy pickup 4x4. It stands just over 8' tall and gives you nice visibility when in the cab. It started out as a rare fat fender hay truck ( fat fender meaning that the front fenders and steps are 4" wider than all other coe's of this type) which gives it a distinctively better look. The bed of this truck is two 1950's chevy / gmc beds grafted together to make the proper length proportionate to the frame and cab. The bed is 9' 8" long. The rear fenders are also 1950's gmc / chevy and have been widened and stretched to fit the large tires and to match the wider front fenders. The tires are new and still have the little rubber tits on them. Size is 35x12.50 15 and are mickey Thompson BAHA claws. The wheels have been painted to match the color of the truck and are at a negative 14 set back to put the wheels and tires in the correct position with the fender well spacing. This truck is powered by a chevy 350 and a auto trans. The engine, trans and transfer case all have been totally rebuilt. have a comp cam installed in the motor along with heat wrapped headers which are attached to dual flowmasters winding out to dual 5 inch semi stacks. (SOUNDS AWESOME) Yes this truck runs awesome ! Once all the custom fabrication of this truck was completed during nock up, the truck was tore down piece by piece and finished off properly. All the black that you see in the photos on the body is line-x ( a professional spray on bed liner) scratch resistant and will last forever. This truck is not completed yet but is a running and driving project. I have taken it to a few car shows and had a great response. When I take it anywhere It really gets the attention. People are honking , waving, pointing etc. Stop at the store and when you come out. there is a large gathering of people around the truck and everybody wants to talk about it. I don't really know what to say about this truck..........Its fun to drive, cool to look at But like I said, there are still things that need to be finished Nothing major or costly just time consuming such as Driver door needs adjusted, some gauges / wiring needs to be hooked up, carpet needs to be finished, one ring and pinion needs to be changed to match the other, needs a buffing and a stereo installed. There are so many things new on this truck that I can't list the all But I can give you a general Idea NEW tires , paint, line-x , headlights, rings, glass and rubber. headliner. spikes, wireing, gauges, heater, wirper motor and all acc. , rebuilds, tool boxes, exhaust, driveshaft, interior parts, etc. etc .etc etc. Once again this is a running driving project with minor items that need to be finished up... For shipping purposes this truck is 8' tall 7'8" wide 19' long and weighs 6300 lbs
