I purchased this car for my daughter 7 years ago for her first car. After she pruchased another car, I took it back as my daily driver. Within the last 2 years, the following has been completed: new carpet, convertible top, new Ford Alternator (not aftermarket), new water pump, hoses, belts, tires, period correct GT wheels, plugs, wires, mustang floor mats, headlights, etc. various trim bits and pieces. No major crashes, though some dings in doors and here and there, but overall good shape - no body metal repairs,it still has original paint, no bondo, etc. I'll add more photos soon for details, but basically what you see is what you get. The problems. Speedometer broke for a few months, I believe mileage to be about 175,000 (estimate). AC doesn't work, though worked well until 8 months ago. I believe it to be a leak that will need repair. The airbag warning light is on and the horn occasionally beeps when steering wheel is turned lock to lock. I believe the airbag and horn issue to be related, since they appeared at the ame time a few months ago. I would fix - but have other project cars I'm working on - so I'll leave these to the successful buyer. Its not a 5.0, but at least you'll have great gas mileage - and plenty of sunshine. Engine is strong performer for a 4, not an oil burner, passed CA SMOG twice since I moved to California and will pass again - maintained well for the time its been in our family. Interior is fair, very good for the age. The winning bidder should plan on deposit of $ 500. within 48 hours and final payment within 7 days.
