This 2001 Cadilac Deville, one of GM's best selling luxury sedans, can be bought on an affordable budget. With its strong powerplant, excellent road manners and well-appointed interior, the DeVille is one of the best full-size luxury sedans on the market. This Caddy has been sitting for a few years, but has just passed the Rhode Island State inspection and is ready for the open road again. The car runs and drives great, shows well for its age but it does need a little TLC to be up to snuff again. The problem that was keeping it from passing inspection was trouble code P0743, Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid. The solenoid was replaced, but the SES light would still come and go. Its off now and is why the car passed inpection. Other areas that need attention include: suspension work, exhaust work, the rear power windows, and the A/C.
