I have a really nice 1979 Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance for sale This D'Elegance was the top of the line Caddy in 1979 and is equipped with nearly all available options.   Power everything, 4 wheel disc brakes, cruise, pillow leather seats,  rear seat reading lamps and very plush tangier carpet which Cadillac said in 1979 was created to “simulate the feeling of fine fur”  It does!  It’s clean and virtually with out wear. The 79 Cadillac was equipped with a 425 cubic inch V8. This is a one owner car recently taken out of storage, the following work was performed:  Full Tune Up: Cap, Rotor, Wires and Plugs New Front Brake Calipers, Pads New Master Cylinder and Brake Lines New Optima Red Top Battery The interior is in excellent condition. It is nearly perfect.  There are No rips or tears in the leather and the car was never smoked in.   The Vinyl roof is in excellent condition has no tears. The Chrome is in very good condition and was recently polished to a high shine.  There is some minor pitting in the rear bumper, the front bumper is excellent. All power options work, I have original books and a few sets of keys.   I am very picky about vehicles and I am very honest and upfront in my eBay auctions.  I have sold a number of cars on ebay and people are always pleased when they see my vehicles.  I know these cars well as I also have a 1977 DeVille. This Fleetwood is not a new car and there are few things that will need to be addressed, none affect the drivability of the car.   The A/C will need to be charged..The heater core was bypassed when I purchased the vehicle. This vehicle is stored all winter so heat has not been an issue. This is a summer fun car for me and I drive it with the windows down and factory radio playing.  This car will also need a headliner as it has begun to sag. The car has had some paintwork over the years on the trunk and rear quarters.  It is aging and I think the trunk lid should be resprayed.  There is also a hairline crack in the right rear fender extension.  I have changed the plastic extensions on other Caddys and it is not a big deal and the parts are readily available.   This is truly a fine specimen and clean D’Elegance models are becoming difficult to find.  With a little bit of work this will be a great cruise night or Sunday show car / drive for ice cream with the family vehicle!
