this is a 1981 honda cx500 custom i purchased it from a friend last year and only rode it less than 50 miles so i am selling it in hopes that someone else will actually ride it instead of it just sitting in my garage.last year it was serviced at a dealer and they put in all new seals for the water pump did a valve adjustment put on 2 new tires and did some carb work.the total bill was over 1000.00 dollars and it has only been ridden maybe 100 miles since then.the bike runs and rides great.this bike has many extras like rear saddle bags.a fork bag,rear sissy bar,newer travelcade seat.and more.everything works on this bike and was pennsylvania inspected last year when all the work was done just before it was parked.this bike only has 18,260 miles on it and is in good shape.the battery is about 2 years old i had to charge it last week when i pulled the bike out of my garage for the first time in a year but it seems to be ok so far.here is a link to a 5 minute video of the bike running a walk around of it and a ride down the street showing all gears clutch and brakes work fine.just click this link to watch the video. http://s228.photobucket.com/user/allen724/media/006-4.mp4.html e-mail me with any questions and thanks for looking.On Jun-16-13 at 21:42:16 PDT, seller added the following information: FREE!
