Up for auction is a nicely customized and restored 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This car has a long list of improvements including, a 2110 cc Gene Burg engine kit with Weber 44IDF carburetors and a Flamethrower electronic ignition. It also has a Rancho Freeway Flyer manual 4 speed transmission with highway gears. The suspension was totally upgraded with top of the line coil over struts , and poly bushings all the way around. This car has been converted to disk brakes both front and rear. It has really nice Porsche Boxter wheels with new Toyo tires. The exterior is a very smooth and dent free. The paint work is very high quality , including Ghost Flames and is quite eye catching. The interior is beautiful with all new upholstery , match painted fiberglass dash, custom gauges, wood wheel , and a JVC touch screen head unit. The underside of the car is as clean as the exterior see pics. This was not an amateur restoration. All work was completed by experienced individuals. Since purchasing this car I know of a few things that still need to be completed , including speedometer drive ,ebrake cable, horn , and drivers side interior door lock .All components used during this restoration were new and a lot of time and money were spent on correct details. All information in the listing was conveyed to me by the previous owner who had the car restored. This car runs, drives, and operates as it should, and is currently being driven on weekends. Overall this is a very nice and really presentable vehicle that should provide the new owner many years of fun and reliable transportation. Vermont does not title vehicles older than 15 years of age . It will be sold with a State of Vermont Bill of Sale and a copy of the current registration. I am willing to assist with shipping , meaning I will help load this vehicle. The buyer will be responsible for making all shipping arrangements and associated costs.
