Gsxr 1100 I built in California. 1990 engine in 1987 frame. Need money for house. Moved back here and am not running it anymore. Can run in the 8 sec range with a two step clutch. This a single purpose bike for drag race only. Equipped with Air shifter, custom high capacity air tank swing arm, two step rev limiter, shift light, katana fairing, reinforced sub-frame. Kosman aluminum wheelie bars, one side has slight bend in tube, but I made passes with no problem. Can run at night with tail light and has the charging system still installed. This engine makes about 175 hp and would be a good street race bike. 1200cc 12.5 to 1 lightened pistons, ported head, keihin 37cr carbs, this bike starts and runs like a stock one, but needs 100 octane fuel to run right. best time 9.02 in 1/4 mile @ 150ish or 122 mph in 1/8 mile. It has a new kevlar clutch that is very direct engagement, but a slider or lockup would cure the problem. You need a rear tire, chain and battery for sure. Comes with extra rings and banana oil cooler that I removed for 1/4 mile only. With buy it now (only) I will throw in a set of full fox leathers and another frame with swingarm that I was going to use for street conversion. (leathers are large size) in pretty good condition. The liner is ripped, but the leather has no holes.
