This auction is for a 1970 R60/5 BMW with just over 30K miles. There has been much owner upkeep during the time owned, such as: front fork boots replaced new foot peg and grips mirrors sump seal main seal and the transmission and kick-starter were gone through by local Albuquerque BMW dealer. Bike comes with original Owners Manual and tool pack as well as a Clymers manual, extra parts and specialty tools (see photos). It is a 43 year old bike in pretty darn good shape. Everything works well. There is a small ding on the fuel tank, (see photo). Starts and runs fine and is fun to ride. We're listing this bike locally soon and reserve the right to cancel this sale/auction at any time. Buyer pays for and arranges shipping. (Note - this is my husband's bike, and he doesn't do computers, nor can he even type, so feel free to ask lots of questions and I'll be sure to check often and get them answered quickly. Why are we selling? My husband is getting more blind every day, (I say he is blind in one eye and cant see out of the other), besides that our Kymco People 150 is way too easy to hop onto and go for quick trips in the neighborhood. This Beamer is lonely for a steady date. She won't disappoint!)
