For sale is a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS with a 396 cu in V8. It has a 4 speed manual transmission, power steering, and 12 bolt rear end. The engine and transmission were rebuilt about 2,500 miles ago. The car was repainted about 2 years ago, and the upholstery is about 4 years old. There are NO known mechanical issues other than the fact that it tends to run a little hot in stop and go traffic which is pretty common. It does have some minor cosmetic flaws here and there, but nothing at all major. There is no radio. I would consider this Chevelle a VERY good driver quality vehicle that is even a threat to place in smaller car shows. It drives great, sounds great, and looks great. It's a major head turner. I get almost too much attention when I drive this car. Before you ask, yes it is a real Chevelle. No, I don't have proof that it's a real SS. It has the 396 that an SS is supposed to have and it is FAST like an SS is supposed to be. It will peel all the way through first gear and chirp the tires in 2nd. This auction has no reserve. If the auction ends and you are the high bidder, you own it. I do have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time if a local person buys it. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. Buyer must pay $500 down payment via paypal within 48 hours of auction ending. The remaining money due may be paid by cash or bank draft.
