Vehicle Detail
***Lowered Reserve*** Priced to sell!!! The car will sell at my reserve, bid with confidence... What we have for sale for you today is a rare '66 Belvedere convertible. It has an original 273 v8, auto trans, power steering, manual drum brakes and dual exhaust. When purchased 6 years ago it had a new top and has about 8-10 small tears now. The top sustained hail damage and might need to be replaced. That is why reserve is lowered. Car hasn't been driven for 5 years and has been sitting ever since. To potential buyers I would get car towed, because it has not ran for 5 years. To my knowledge it is a runner. All it will need is a tune up. The exterior was repainted at that time of purchase and still shines! The frame is still clean and it is an excellent summer toy. Car was orignally not from WI, it was from the east coast. All four quarter panels have been replaced in it's life, so that is why there is no rust on wheel wells. The convertible top in the back window is a zipper type and needs to be reattached/restitched. Trunk is super solid and no rust in there. Trunk pan might have been replaced, but there is no visible rust in there. The trunk is full of parts; wipers, locks, speedometer and gauges, kick panels, stock air cleaner, etc. I do not know every little part in there. It is a great entry level mopar vehicle and anyone can own. My reserve is less than most project cars cost. This is an easy GTX conversion. I believe that with a little TLC, you can turn this car into a great flip and make a few bucks. I don't have the time to do that. This car is super rare and in fact only 2502 convertibles were made in 1966. What you see is what you get and I believe that whoever purchases this car will have many years of enjoyment out of it. As you can see in the pictures a few years back it got some minor hail damage, but windshield will have to be repaired more than likely replaced. There are minor scratches/dents and minor bubbling that will need to be repaired. I am not a body man, so I do not know how much work would need to be done to fix the dents, etc. As you can see in the pictures it needs minor repairs. I am putting this car at a low reserve so it can move. I will answer all emails with the most truthful response I can offer. If you need anything please do not hesitate to email. You must have a rating of 10 or higher to bid. This is to eliminate fraudulent bids and scams. If you have less than a 10 rating contact me before bidding to assure a clean transaction. The car will need to be picked up and that service is on the buyer. Car is being relisted due to non-payment. Please do not bid unless serious in buying car, (to many tire kickers.) Car is sold as is... Do not ask if I will trade, I do not want trades, I want to sell only. Please do not ask what I will take if it is less than a winter beater, this is a serious listing for serious buyers. Also comes with a tube that contains most if not all of the trim pieces... Very hard and expensive to find...Just found it in the garage today. The car is ready for the new owner. :) Also a $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours and the rest within a week. You can pay all right away if you would like. Thanks, Jeff
