You are bidding on a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This is a original black car with cloth seats from the factory.It was restored about 3 years ago and has been setting in storage for the last 2 years.This is NOT an original SE car, just decaled to look like one.The body was stripped down to bare metal and refinished with DuPont basecoat/clearcoat paint,then buffed to a very nice finish. There was no rust found when stripped.The decal kit is from Phoenix Graffics to make it look like a SE. It does have some door dings,a small dent in the left quarter panel and some spot/blemishes on the hood.It has new 17x9 cast aluminum snowflake wheels with 275-50-17 and 235-50-17 Falken tires.The interior has been totally redone with original style seat covers and vinyl door panels. The dash has no cracks and has been refinished.It has new carpet,package tray,headliner,visors, all other trim pieces has been refinished in the original color. Including the console.It has the original factory AM-FM cassette radio with new speakers.It also has new weatherstrip kit,windshield,both door glasses, and trunk mat. The engine was totaly rebuilt and painted back like original.A small performance camshaft was added.The carburator,power steering pump,and radiator was all rebuilt.New parts at the time of the restoration include starter,alternator, water pump,fuel pump,distributor cap, rotor, wires, plugs,belts and hoses.The A/C compressor and parts are original and works.The cruise control is original but may not work.The transmission was rebuilt, but the rear end is untouched original.The front suppension was rebuilt with new balljoints,bushings,tierod ends,shocks. The brakes got a rebuilt master cylinder,brake booster and brake pads. This is a very nice running and driving car.I am selling it because it rarely gets driven and I need the space for other cars.This car is being sold as is with no warranty.It is also up for sale locally.I will answer any questions the best that I can.Thank for looking and happy bidding.
