1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe, Restored, Auto Stick, Runs Amazing!!! Here we have for sale a very nice 1970 Karmann Ghia 2 door coupe. The Ghia is in really nice condition and was restored a few years back. The Ghia was painted a factory 1994 Ford Ranger metallic purple. It has a really good look to it with the 8 spoke empi aluminum wheel. The car is nice inside and out. The engine runs amazing too. The car was done inside and out and even the engine and transaxle. There is no rot on the car. It is solid and straight! The pans are solid!! The Ghia is equipped with the Auto Stick feature, and is really cool. The auto stick is unique and is rare to find in an olf Ghia. The tires are in excellent condition with lots of tread left. The chrome bumpers are nice front and back. The front and rear windows have brand new rubber on them. The interior of the Ghia is really nice. The seats are recovered and there is newish carpet installed in the car. The velour door panels are nice. The headliner is nice and has no cracks in it. The speedo, and gas gauge work perfect. The wood grain dash is really nice with no cracks or anything. The original windows are nice and the rear pop out windows work perfectly. The stereo works great. All the electrical works in the Ghia. The engine is really nice and complete in the car. The letter code is an F which I researched as possibly either a 1300cc or a 1600cc. I do not know exactly. It is a single port I know. The engine is complete with all of the stock and original air cleaners and everything. Everything is really nice in the engine and the previous owner used like a splatter paint on all the tin of the engine. There is a nice Bosch alternator installed. The Auto Stick transaxle works perfectly and is really fun and interesting to drive. There are three spots on the front clip that the body prep was not done properly can has lifted up. There is a missing cap on the front wheel too. There is a couple minor scratches in the paint. There are a few little knicks in the wheel lips too. Other than that, this is a really nice Karmann Ghia with the rare Auto Stick feature in it. The car runs and drives great and can be driven with confidence.
