This Impala sold on E-Bay on April 22, after meeting the reserve. The purchaser sent a deposit by Pay Pal, but called to cancel the sale a few days later as the result of some personal issues. I agreed to release him from his commitment, and am relisting the car!! For auction is my 1958 Impala that is stunning to look at and reliable mechanically. It has a small block GM 350 crate motor with a turbo 350 automatic. The car has power steering and power disc brakes. It has seat belts front and rear, and an under dash tissue dispenser. The windshield and rear window were replaced with new tinted glass, as well as new seals, when I purchased the car. I have owned it for 5 years and will be sorry to see it go. The transmission was completely rebuilt about a year and a half ago, and recently the car has had new front wheel bearings, a new hanger bearing, and the rear end rebuilt with new gears installed. In 2011 the car had 4 new coil springs and 4 new shocks. The tires are radials, and have only a few thousand miles on them. The car always runs cool, and the original gas and temperature gauges work. The restoration was done at least 10 years ago, but the car has always been garaged and it still shines like new. There are a few minor paint imperfections, but the car is exceptional looking for an older restoration. This is not a show car, but it is not priced in that category. The 1958 Impala is one of the best investments in a collector car that anyone can make. The car has been to the Annual Dream Cruise in Daytona Beach, as well as other car shows around the State of Florida. It attracts a phenomenal amount of attention, and people take pictures of it wherever it is parked. This car will attract more attention than most collector cars, for there are not many of them around, and this is usually the only 1958 Impala at most car shows I go to.
