Ive had it for about a year, and its time for someone else to own it. I bought the car from the original owner here in town, about two blocks from me. He kept the car immaculate, and maintained it perfectly. I just did a tune up and put a new battery in, but all other service was done at 89,000 miles. This included new tires, oil change, new hoses, A/C recharge, and he bought a new carburetor that he never put on. I have personally put 25 miles on it since I bought it. Its cold blooded, but when it warms up and you can shut down the choke (manual choke) it purrs like a kitten. Im in the high desert so our temps go from 0-100f in a year. We are in a very dry climate with little snow or rain. The temperatures are taking a toll on the car, and it needs a good home. There is no lower rust, only odd locations of rust as shown in the pictures. The car was originally silver, but the owner painted it blue. The paint still looks great and polishes up nice. The interior is all original and the heat is taking a toll on the cloth seats.. look at pictures for tears on front seats. The weatherstripping is unbelieveablly in great condition, Im guessing he had all new put on after the blue paint job. As you can see from the underside photos, there is no rust damage anywhere on the pan or bottom of body. This is a cool little car that gets great mileage and looks great. If i were to keep it id put the new carburetor on since I have it, change the CV's (been sitting for awhile), maybe put a good radio in it, missing one wheel beauty ring. Other than that its a great car. Ive never used the heater or AC, the cooling system and AC systems all have new hoses. The car is rigged for a tow bar. The previous owner said they have it, I have never picked it up. If you want it ill go grab it. I apologize for the dirty interior... It looks better than the pictures, I dint have time to clean the seats and carpet. WOW... I just had someone ask me about the spare... I totally forgot that area... I opened it and it has a beautiful spare, original tools, jack, overalls, new hoses, belts, points, clutch cable, new water pump, and other misc goodies. Ebay lets me post 24 pictures... I drove the car to breakfast today (5-3-2013) in Bishop, Ca which is a 40 mile one way trip. The car ran great, and I actually had a couple of people trying to buy it. It does around 80mph at 3600 rpm with no problem.
