Vehicle Detail

Here i have a pretty rare 1957 Chevy Suburban Panel, with the NAPCO 4x4 package. It has 59,000 on the odometer and the story i got was.. this was a geological survey company truck, it lived out in the hills, they took it everywhere they had to go, so they had to have the best..ie..NAPCO. then they wanted to stop the flexing as they climbed up hills so they stiffened up the frame rails and put in a small wood stove so the engineer would be warm in the winter as he did his paperwork. they almost never brought it home, they just did repairs in the field. one day the radiator sprung a leak as they were climbing around so they stuck in a 59 radiator and then one day the rear end went wacky so one of the workers took it out, went to town to get another one and never came back. so when the job was done they crawled off the hill with the front drive and years later here it is.i will get the vin number loaded soon. there is no title to this exact truck, but if it sells i do have a title for a 57 and the matching vin plate, you will get them also(over 3K is the number that i would like to get). We got it running rather easy. hooked up a battery, ran a hot to the coil, hooked up a can of gas to the carb and fired it up. it has a valve that is a little sticky, nothing that some lube and a fresh oil change won't cure. i will run this auction once, i will not contact anyone after it is over DONT ASK! If you want it bid with joy, nowing there was not very many of these built, so it is very rare and your neighbor won't be getting one also. i want at least $3000. my wife says "if it doesn't sell for three thousand it's hers period" Please feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to answer quickly, or you can call 970-319-7786 I am willing to work with you on storing until you can get it transported, but deposit will need paid immediately (within 72 hours) after auction is over. and the remainder within 2 weeks (14 calendar days) or when picked up . Whichever comes first.
