I am selling my custom 1953 Willys Jeep. It has custom brown paint, custom diamond plating and newly installed head and tail lights. Everything else on the body is original; very little rust on the frame for a jeep. Cosmetically, this jeep is flawless. It runs well, it has a 1985 350 Chevrolet V8 engine that has been rebuilt with only 120K miles on it. The transmission is an original, standard 3-speed ground shifter with Reverse on the front left. The original drum brakes are somewhat weak for the power and the momentum that the V8 packs, but they are nothing a quick tune-up wouldn't fix. I recently installed a new starter and an ignition relay, as well as a new battery and alternator. Minus the brakes, this jeep is mechanically and electrically sound. The wheels are 31" Buckshots with 80 percent tread. I bought this vehicle from a family mechanic who was in the process of restoring it as a "mudding" or woods truck. The owner before the mechanic was the original owner, who was a farmer and used the Willys as a farm truck. So this vehicle is great as a weekend cruiser, a farm work truck with awesome torque, or a mudding/woods buggy that has enough power to climb a tree. I have clean title in hand.
