We have a beautiful fully restored and updated 1966 Ford Mustang for sale. This pony has been in the same family since the early 70s but the owner has decided its time to move on. The vehicle has recently undergone a complete professional nut and bolt restoration. There is not one part of this car that was not gone over and no expense was spared. Starting with the body and undercarriage everything was brought down to bare metal and any necessary repairs were made. The Shelby style deck lid was added and matching end caps were molded onto the rear quarters. A Shelby style hood, tail lights and side scoops were also installed. The beautiful paint was only completed after the body had been meticulously gone over ending in a very straight canvass to lay down the black with gold metallic base coat followed by several layers of clear. The suspension has also gone through a complete restoration. the control arms, ball joints, bushings and springs are all brand new. The tired factory steering setup was replaced with a flaming river power rack and pinion setup that makes the car drive better than ford ever imagined when the mustangs rolled off the assembly line. In the rear the leafs were replaced and a ford 9 inch with posi was installed. All the brake lines and hoses were replaced and ssbc force 10 disc brakes were installed on all 4 corners. The master cylinder is also new as well as the power brake booster. Finally the custom 18 inch wheels were installed to clear the massive brake setup. The power train is also brand new with just over 900 miles since it was finished. The engine is a ford racing 302 crate engine with all the dress up goodies topped with a edelbrock intake and carburetor. The c4 automatic just underwent a complete rebuild and a shift kit was installed. The cooling is handled by a massive aluminum radiator and all accessories are now driven by a single serpentine belt. The battery has also been relocated to the trunk to help clean up the engine bay. In the interior everything is also new. The custom tan interior looks amazing with the black paint. The power top works perfect and is new as well. The sound system is a pioneer system that sounds great with the top up or down and the custom gauges do a good job of giving you all the vitals for the engine.
