Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1977 Dodge Adventurer Power Wagon with a 440 V-8 Engine, extended cab and 8’ bed. This is a real truck—the kind when they were built to do work and go off road. It’s built to take you anywhere you want to go--the perfect vehicle for fishing, hunting, off roading or just plain old fun. For a vehicle that is 36 years old and never been restored it is in very good condition. It comes complete with an Edelbrock Carburetor, solid in-bed tool chest, 2 fuel tanks and a newer receiver hitch. The speedometer and all gauges work, as well as blinkers, brake and back up lights. The dome lights work, and the heater works very well—it’s conquered a lot of sub-zero Montana winters. Windows roll up and down well and are not cracked. It has good brakes and the tires are in excellent condition. The 4WD works great. (4 High, 4 High-Lock, 4 Low and 4 Low-Lock) The headlights are turned on with the light switch and the tail lights are turned on with another switch. The seats aren’t perfect, but are in good condition for their age. The windshield is cracked and the dash lights don't work. It will need to have the speedometer cable replaced in the near future; the one in it bounces the needle and you can hear it rub inside the housing. They are available online. The A/C doesn’t work, but the components are there. There is some wear-and-tear cracking on the dash glove box door. Again--this is a 36 year old vehicle; as may be expected, it has some rust around wheel wells and some paint fading. The paint appears to be original. During the time I have owned it, I have made a number of updates, including: New (rebuilt) power steering pump, pulley and beltsNew distributor cap, rotor, coil and condenserNew spark plug wires and spark plugsNew water pumpNew thermostat and thermostat housingNew upper and lower radiator hosesNew valve cover gaskets and PVC valveNew voltage regulatorNew ballast resistorNew ignition control moduleNew starter relayNew headlightsNew radio antenna and cableNew heater fan switchNew top of cab marker lightsNew wiper blades; windshield washing fluid system works well All engine pulleys have been cleaned and repainted, and the radiator has been professionally cleaned and sealed. Please note: I don't know how many miles are on it and neither did the person I bought it from. It runs very well, and it’s a vehicle I have enjoyed owning. There is no warranty of any kind--it is sold as is. I have done my best to be as specific as possible in this listing and in the photographs. Buyer is responsible for all costs of transporting this vehicle to their location and is responsible for making all arrangements for shipping and/or pick up. Payment must be received in US Dollars. Do not bid on the vehicle unless you are serious about buying it. Please read the entire listing and ask any questions before bidding.
