Vehicle Detail

1979 Firebird Trans AM. I bought this car running 15 years ago. Slowly have been working on it. SLOWLY..I flat dont have time or money to continue this project and instead of being frustrated with it I'm going to sell it. This car was data plated with a 403 olds and factory slap shifter not dealer installed. A fairly rare car..When I pulled the vin years ago it was one of say 750 made. I have pulled everything out of it. The 403 was trashed so I sold off the block and had a 455 laying around which I took to a machine shop in Tumwater, WA and they did enough magic to pull off what we think is a 503 now with Edelbrock guts. Engine still needs the bling for the outside. Its never been run and is on the engine stand wrapped in plastic. Trans is a 350TH with a factory slap shifter. Nothing had been done to it other than removed from car. Trunk has been blasted and repainted with spatter. Interior has been gutted and installed are: new carpet, new package tray with new 6x9 speakers, new headliner, new dome light, all dash lights swapped for LED bulbs, Dash and steering wheel have been restored, gauge cluster has been pulled apart cleaned and re-assembled, refaced dash bezel, restored gauge rings, new dash knobs, new lighter and assy, new grab handle. New glove box and restored glove box door with new lock (un installed). All interior plastics refurbished, new ashtrays, re dyed seatbelts, new sill plates (uninstalled), new door gaskets and bumpers (uninstalled). New slapshifter bezel (repop not installed). Rear seat re-upholstered in standard, car came with deluxe but i liked the standard seats. I have the front seats which need new foam and upholstery. Center console has had repairs done to make it usable but I was going to get a new one, I do have a new center console box, lid and lock as well as a reface kit for the console. New pedal rubber and bezels. All interior hardware is new and I still have some that needs installations. I have more new speakers and 2 chrome blinged amps still in the box. This car is at the point where paint and body needs to get done before I go further. I started working the passenger door but I dont know what Im doing so I stopped. It looks ok but not perfect enough for black for paint. I bought 2 additonal doors with all the power window and lock gizzys to swap into the car since it didnt come with any of that. Theres a few rust spots in the usual places behind the wheel well on both front fenders. Plan was new fenders anyway. Shaker hood and scoop with assy not shown in picts, Im sure Ive got more but I cant think of it all right now. 2 brand new front tires mounted on some crappy cragars just to roll it around. 2 snoflake wheels which need restoring. Youll get everything I have for this car..This car needs to go to a good home..not to someone who is just going to duct tape it together and wrap it around a tree. Your going to need a trailer to haul her home and room for all the extra stuff youll get with her. No you cant drive it home, Yes it has a crystal clear title, NO scams NO flakes and NO emails from Nigeria please. This is also listed on craigslist..first come first serve.
