This is my great running all original 53 5 window gmc daily driver 3/4 ton truck. I drive this thing everywhere everyday with no problems. i am always changing the filters and oil, and fixing everything here and there. since i have gotten it i have put on new shocks, brakes, electric fuel pump, electric wipers, changed it to 12 volt, oil pan gasket, tires( they are probably ready for new ones already), weatherstipping on the windshield and doors (have the back windows), got the glove box and doors keyed alike, and much more. i currently have the OEM rear view mirror for the driver side so that i can take off the big old mirrors on it, and i have the tailgate chains and botton hinge pins to install, just need to pull the minor dent in the rear driver bottom of the bed to get the hinge pin on correctly. This truck has NO EXTERIOR CANCER/RUST THRU anywhere other than the driver floor board( which i have the patch panel for. Yes the mileage is correct, this awesome truck is awesome. it starts always, pull the choke, start, warm up, drive. When it was 20 below here this winter it was a tad bit more and the steering wheel grease was sticky but i drove it everywhere, everyday. t needs a few things that i will do eventually if no one buys it, like the cowl vent seal and the front main seal(tiny leak), which I will also do the motor mounts when I do that( I have them also), and the temp gauge is not working, but I am getting another one or two here in a week or so and will definatly get fixed.I would not hesitate, in the slightest bit, to get in this truck and drive it anywhere.Please feel free to ask questions.
