Has some high miles, but still runs great. I bought the bike from a self-servicer engineer who had overhauled the engine not too long before selling me the bike in 2010. Prior to purchasing I had read about the reliability of a DR650 and now I can confirm that it is truly reliable. This bike starts easy - even on a cold day. Only rarely has it seen cold days because it is garage-kept. The owner before me had put on wide pegs (very comfortable) and a carrying compartment(very handy) I have since swapped out the seat(looks very nice), put new handle grips, replaced the brake pads(less than 200miles ago), new tires(less than 400miles ago), and gave it a high-performance filter. I keep up with oil changes too. The ugly bits: The speedometer has recently started acting up(have not investigated, could be something simple) and the turn-signal is sometimes finicky(might just need to clean contacts).There's a reflector that fell off the front.Expected scratches and dings that are common with a dual-sport..it's been off-road in it's past. Still a great bike - has great power, fun to ride, very reliable.
