BODY- NICE CLEAN DRIVER BODY WITH A SOLID ORIGINAL PLATFORM. 1 OLDER REPAINT IN THIS 65 FORD SILVER BLUE METALLIC, FROST WHITE TOP AND NEW STENCIL KIT ON TAILGATE. THE PAINT SHOWS VERY WELL THAT LOOKS JUST RIGHT ON THIS CLASSIC IH AND WAS DONE IN A DRIVER QUALITY CALIPER TO FRESHEN THE TRUCK UP AND PROTECT IT FROM ELEMENTS AND FURTHER WEAR. IT ALSO HAS HAD A COUPLE MODERN UPGRADES WITH NEWER ELECTRIC POWERED WIPER SET-UP INTALLED, BRIGHTER H4 CONVERSION HEADLIGHTS AND THOSE KILLER LEAK FREE BILLET GAS CAPS THAT ARE A MUST ON ANY SCOUT 80/800 (AS YOU CAN SEE THE LEAK DAMAGE ON DRIVER SIDE JUST AFTER FESH PAINT THAT CAUSED THE CALL TO SUPER SCOUT SPECIALIST). THIS LITTLE SCOUT WILL GET COMPLIMETS AND PLENTY OF ATTENTION, BUT DOES HAVE SOME DEFECTS THAT YOU CAN SEE IN THE CLOSE UP SHOTS. THE BODY WAS NOT SANDED DOWN 100% OR HAD ANY BODY DEFECTS ATTENDED TO BEFORE IT WAS PAINTED SO IT STILL DOES HAVE A FEW DINGS, PREVIOUS CHIPS AND A DRIVER FENDER CREASE THAT WAS PAINTED OVER, BUT NO LARGE DENTS. THE PAINT AND BODY WAS DONE TO LOOK GOOD, BUT NOT STRESS OUT ABOUT ON CAMPING AND OUTDOOR TRIPS AND IT'S CLEAR BY THE MODERN UPGRADES TO THE INTERIOR THAT WERE DONE AND THE ATTENTION, MONEY AND WORK THAT WENT IN THE MECHANICALS THAT THIS OWNER BUILT THIS SCOUT TO USE IT AND NOT WORRY ABOUT BREAKDOWNS OR FUSS OR CHIPS AND SCRATCHES. THERE IS NO SCRATCHES OR CHIPS IN THE PAINT AND THE TOP IS PERFECT. THE NICE THING TO KNOW IS SINCE THE OWNER DIDNT TRY TO HIDE DINGS OR CHIPS, THEY ALSO DIDNT COVER OR HIDE ANY CANCER AND THE ONLY SPOT IS SHOWN ON VERY BOTTOM OF OUTER ROCKERS. ALL GLASS AND LIGHTS ARE GOOD. ALL DEFECTS OR ABOVE MENTIONED ITEMS FROM SMALL TO BIG HAVE BEEN PICTURED IN CLOSE UP AND SEEN IN VIDEO, BUT IF THE THE SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS DUE BOTHER YOU THIS SCOUT IS VERY SOLID WITH EVERYTHING DONE MECHANICALLY SO THIS WOULD BE A EXCELLENT AND MONEY SAVING RESTORATION CANDIDATE, BUT TO ME LEAVE IT, DRIVE IT AND ENJOY IT THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO!! THIS WELL LOVED AND CARED FOR CLASSIC WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE THE NEW OWNERS ENJOYMENT. INTERIOR- INSIDE IT IS BASICALLY THE ESSENTIALS JUST THE WAY IH DESIGNED HER WITH A FEW MODERN UPGRADES. THE DASH PAD IS MISSING AND THE INTERIOR IS A OLDER DARK BLUE AND SILVER THAT LOOKS GOOD BUT DONE IN HAMMERITE TYPE PAINT TO LAST. VERY SOLID FLOORS WITH BEDLINER SPRAY UP FRONT AND JUST MINOR SURFACE RUST ON THE REAR RIDGES OF THE FLOOR THAT SCUFF RIGHT OF. NOT MANY COMFORT FEATURES IN THIS LITTLE SCOUT JUST AS THEY WERE BUILT BUT EVERYHTING IS THERE, WORKS AND GETS THE JOB DONE! MECHANICAL- THIS SCOUT HAS HAD A LARGE AMOUNT OF WORK DONE IN THE LAST 18 YEARS AND 18K MILES WITH RECIEPTS THAT WILL COME WITH THE TRUCK. ALOT OF THIS WORK WAS DONE YEARS BACK BUT HAVE VERY LITTLE MILES ON THEM AND WOULD COST A LOT MORE TO DO TODAY. ALL WORK WAS PREFESSIONALLY DONE AND PAPERORK TRAIL FOLLOWS THE MILES. IT CAME THE FACTORY WITH THE 196 MOTOR, 4-SPEED MANUAL AND TWIN STICK TRANSFERCASE. THIS SCOUT IS A STRONG AND SMOOTH RUNNER WITH NO HESITATION, TICKING, SMOKING, LEAKS OR ISSUES. IT DRIVES AND STOPS NICE STRAIGHT AND TIGHT. DOES NOT HAVE ANY KNOWN MECHANCAL ISSUES AND DRIVES LIKE A OLD 60'S SUV. THIS ONE IS DIALED IN MECHANICALLY THAT I WOULD NOT STRESS ABOUT BEING IN TRAFFIC WITH , BUT BY NO MEANS IS READY FOR THE AUTO BAUN AND IS PROBABLY BEST OUT OF THE FASTLANE ON THE FEEWAY:) THIS LITTLE SWEET HEART JUST MAKES YOU SMILE LOOKING AT IT AND HAS WON OVER OUR HEARTS, SO WE HOPE IT GOES TO A LOVING AND APPRECIATIED HOME! I then check all electrical items,lights pwr motors,. etc. I park the vehicles and let them sit minimum of 30 minutes and check for any fluid leaks on the ground. I drive all cars at least 50 miles on the hwy and in city to get the fluids warm and everything working. I then check all electrical items,lights pwr motors,. etc. I park the vehicles and let them sit minimum of 30 minutes and check for any fluid leaks on the ground. If anything does not work properly I will let you know. Of course I am only human and these are mechanical creatures and these are used vehicles, so please keep this in mind when bidding.
