This is a true find ... This is a rare find in such wonderful original and rust free condition This is a 1986 AMC Eagle 4 Wheel Drive with 104247 original miles. Factory CB & Mic (SUPER RARE) Seems to be all original… 104247 original miles… No signs of rust… Cosmetically the car looks very nice. The paint finish is older and seems to be original factory paint. There are minimal chips, nicks, dings and scratches. The driver’s side door is missing a pc of trim and the passenger rear fender is missing a very small pc of trim. (See pics) The cars undercarriage has a protective coating on the carriage protecting it from rust. The interior is in great shape overall. The seats are soft and comfortable and in good condition. The driver’s side seat has a tear from normal wear from the driver getting in and out. (See pics) The passenger seat also has some wear but minimal. The dash is near perfect and the console and instrumentation are A++. The stereo looks to be original to the car with factory cassette player. The stereo is missing the tuner knob and the selector knob. The driver`s side door handle is not working because it needs to be rewired from inside of the door. All electrical is in working order including original stereo including the factory GM CB Radio and Mic The AMC Eagles can switch to 2wd to 4wd at the flick of a switch. Tires are in great shape the straight six engines runs. The engine starts with no hesitation but the engine appears to need a tune up or the carburetor cleaned. The car does not smoke or run roughly just a simple tune up would have it purring like a kitten again. Currently you have to pump the fuel to keep the car idling. There are very few imperfections in the paint as it still shines very nicely for a 30+ year old original AMC We had to purchase a new ignition because we lost the keys to the car. The door and truck keys will need to be replaced because they did not have a set locally to replace all of the locks. It is model number 385 trim package trim 35R paint 2A-3P.
