You are bidding on a "Non-Running" 1992 VW Jetta "eco-diesel" with a 1.6 turbo..The body, and interior, are in VGC.. Car didn't re-start last time I parked it on street, so it was pushed in driveway where it stood since last october.. We are currently in the process of moving and have no time or resources to get the car running again nor do we have a way to take it with us. This car is RARE..only 42 were shipped to the U.S.A that year. Lots of work was put into the car over the last few years, The Engine was rebuilt along with a new cylinder head complete with new Cometic MLS Gasket and ARP head studs. A custom 2.5" Stainless Steel exhaust system that includes a custom downpipe was also added. This is a "straight threw" exhaust with no muffler or cat.., (its not loud at all)...! For a 1.6 diesel, the car ran "strong"...and still averaged 45 mpg on the hwy...Car comes with am/fm radio 10 disc CD player.. CD player stopped working last summer, but radio still works fine... "Please" Serious Bidders Only....! Just a simple diagnosis was performed and from what we can gather , no fuel is being pumped.
