I am selling my 1989 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L Convertible, automatic, leather interior. It has a little over 89k miles on it. It's a really nice car, fast and fun to drive. Car is pretty much stock. It has a badge on the dash that says 25th Anniverary Edition. The convertible top goes up and down easily with a push of the button, works great. The engine is mostly stock with aluminum heads and intake. Added long headers and a full Dynamax cat back exhaust. Aftermarket AOD transmission with additional clutch plates and shift kit. Shifts clean and have never had any issues with the new transmission. It has aftermarket Konig rims with Kumho tires. The tires are a little worn, but still plenty of tread. The original rims and tires go with the car if you want them, the tires on the orginal rims are no good. Aftermarket Sony CD player w/2 10" MTX subs in custom boxes in the trunk. Car repainted about 7 years ago. It's not perfect but shines really nice. The car is always garage kept and well maintained. It will need a new top at some point. The stitching is giving out below the rear window as shown in the pics. There is also a small 1" tear in the top where someone vandalized the car in the parking lot. Last time I got caught in the rain, the top was not leaking. The rear main also has a small leak, probably from sitting. It's not bad so the car can be driven with no problems, just need to make sure to check the oil level a little more frequently. The leather on the front seats is worn on the edges. I know these are available on line. There is also a small crack in the paint above the rear tire. The shop that painted the car was supposed to fix this before the car was painted and didn't. So now it is showing. I wanted to try the best I could to address some of the things I think need to be done, otherwise this is a very nice car. Again, the car is a blast to drive and is in really good shape for being 24 years old. I encourage anyone to come look at the car. If you want to inspect the car contact me.
