Up for bid is my 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback, VIN#5F09T377286, clear title in my name, current CA registration (white plates). The car was originally a 6-cylinder car, but the previous owner put a 302 in it. Transmission is a manual 4-speed toploader, 411 gears. All glass is in good condition. Wheels are Magnum 500’s. Currently has dual side-exhausts. The car is Wimbleton White, decent paint but with a few runs and chips. There is some rust in the trunk area (the car came to me from Virginia), and some surface rust (but no holes) on the floorboards. The clutch needs some attention (feels like it might be missing a return spring?). I have not started this car in a few years. The battery is currently dead, but when the battery was new it started and ran strong (though I would not consider it drivable due to the clutch acting funky). The car has a “Shelby” front end on it (front clip, hood, bumper). The body looks good. The passenger door and trunk open and close properly, drivers door sticks a bit sometimes. The interior is a bit faded but otherwise in good condition. I believe all trim is present. Rear seat is original to the car, and folds down properly, though it’s starting to show its age. If you're close, you're welcome to inspect the car (Morgan Hill, CA). The car is sold “as is” and “where is.” The buyer is responsible for all transport/shipping arrangements and costs. Please do not bid if you don't have the money available. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of end of auction via PayPal only. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end via Certified Check. If deposit is not received within 24 hours via PayPal, the car will be relisted or offered to someone else.
