Vehicle Detail
This is a project car. The front clip has been removed to expose the rust between the fenders and door. The grille on the front clip has brand new upper and lower supports still in the box from Ames Performance. The engine, is not original for this vin #, (Cast # 500557 shows to be a 1975 engine) and tranny have been removed and are in good/great condition. The car was running and shifting fine. The unibody chassis has been removed to replace worn out front end parts and bushings and have the tranny cross member re-welded. All front end parts are intact, they were just removed to replace the bushings. Straight lines on body, hood, fenders, and trunk lid. All interior pieces are good, but only has one front seat. Rear Seat is intact. Console is in fair shape. Dash has been removed and the heater box has been removed. There is no windshield or rear window for this vehicle. I have 3 of the original rims. The rear end has been removed but still intact. All emblems, rear lights, are in fair shape. There have been some questions about rust, floor pan, trunk pan so I have uploaded more pictures of those. The only rust is where the battery use to sit on the driver side front fender well area. Pretty much rust free except the spot between the drivers side front door and fender. There are 2 small squares cut out from underneath the pan and not sure why it was done. The rear quarters are in good shape but the wheel wells will need to be replaced. There is some bondo on the truck, doors, fender wells, but all the lines are straight and in fair to good condition. I have all the parts to this vehicle, they are in bins and boxes. This project just got too big for me to handle and to do alone. This is not a rolling chassis. I purchased the car in March 2013 and do not know much of the history prior to that. This would make a great restoration project or parts car for a restoration project. Any offer will be considered. You can call me as well for any questions. My name is Ken and my number is 830-481-3328. I have dropped the price 500 bucks for a quick sell.
