Vehicle Detail
You are looking at (one of) the most beautiful bikes on the street - a real head turner with extra comfortable seat and heated grips. New "Avon Venom" tires front and rear - New "Bike Master" gel battery with onboard charging system - New OEM 3rd generation tail light {beware of the old style taillights - they WILL break that's why they were redesigned ... twice} - heavy handlebars w/heated grips is borrowed straight from it's big brother the R1200CLC. There is no other R1200C like this one. The beautiful cream color of the bike is enhanced by the flawless brown saddle bags. The chrome is in very good shape and the paint is fair for the age. There are no dings that I know of but of course there may be some surface scratches and maybe a small paint chip or two but the blemishes are so few and so small I honestly owned the bike for more that a year before I even noticed them. The R1200CLC handlebar offers: a much more comfortable riding position, more control and is much better looking. The chrome and black mirrors are the best BMW offered for this model. The heated grips are not only functional but also weighted and great looking. The clutch and brake levers are chromed as are the tops of the fluid reservoirs. The "James Dean" style driving lights are augmented by authentic Harley Davidson chrome turn signals (the original BMW lights are chromed plastic). There is a set of matching authentic Harley Davidson chrome turn signals in the rear to finish off the $300.00 signal upgrade package. The tuned exhaust is more throaty than the stock pipes but not so load as to offend the neighbors. The new 3rd generation taillight looks much better than the original in that there are no holes creating weak spots on the top of the bezel Almost every original taillight out there has at least one crack running from these screw holes and before long the entire light will be hanging. But not with this new style - it is secured from beneath the rear fender with no "through" holes. The 1200cc boxer motor is balanced and powerful. The chrome head covers is another plus on the particular Cruiser. If there is anything you would want to change back to original just let me know as I have kept all of the take-offs. From the "police style" handlebars, to the plastic turn signals to the dull aluminum shifter and brake levers to the chincy cold handle-grips to a different seat, I have kept it all and can change out as you see fit. Ask about delivery - if the price is right anything is possible. Why am I selling this beautiful machine that anyone could tell I lovingly assembled? You see, I have two beautiful little girls that want their own kayaks, so daddy's going to spoil them again. I figure I'll get more exercise out of a kayak than I do riding a motor anyway. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
