I am selling this truck for my fire department, Franklin Township Community VFD in Freedom IN. 1983 Ford F-700, 429 gas V8 with 5 speed manual transmission. The brake master cylinder leaks, the clutch slips and the 750 GPM fire pump passes the initial volume test, but will not pass the Over-Load test. The truck was converted to a fire truck by the Universal Fire Apparatus Corporation of Logansport IN (formerly Boyer Fire Apparatus Company) and bears their S/N 48874. The fire pump is a Hale QSF75-4 and has a 750 gallon per minute rating. Only 15,288 original miles. Other items also included (most still installed on truck) are a Roller Siren, VHF radio included (not narrow-bandable), auto eject 120 volt plug-in with charger, Federal Siren box with under-hood speaker, Code 3 light-bar and approx 100' of booster line and nozzle on hose reel. Tires are in good shape. The truck is less than 30' long, 9' tall. We have all caps for all of the hose outlets. As it sits, the truck weighs 14,500 lbs.
