Vehicle Detail

My 1972 Chevrolet K/5 Blazer 4x4 is up for sale! The photos speak for themselves. This is one of the nicest classic Blazers you will ever find. Hundreds of hours have gone into restoring and maintaining my 8 year labor of love. The engine is a 2004 Chevy 350 (330HP) crate motor with HEI ignition, Edelbrock intake and carb, and Headman headers with dual exhaust. The engine idles, runs, and sounds terrific. The transmission is a TH350 with B&M deep pan and shift kit. A large transmission cooler was added for towing (class 4 welded hitch). 1972 4WD Blazers came stock with the NP205 transfer case. No chains here. This is the true all gear driven transfer case which arguably is the best production transfer case gearbox ever made. On the ground I put 16" polished MB Motorsports rims with Nitto 33" Terra Grappler tires (285-75R-16). The Blazer has a 4" lift with a Superlift EZ-ride suspension. I also added Air-Ride suspension lift bags in the rear for leveling the vehicle while towing. Dakota digital gauge panel upgrade: $900 The wood flooring is an ironwood imported from the Philippines called "apitong". It is a very hard wood typically used on cargo containers. It sands and polished beautifully, without scratching. The best upgrade to this Blazer is the braking system. Stock classic year Blazers do not stop very well. A couple thousand dollars were spent upgrading the braking system. First of all, the Blazer now has 4 wheel disc brakes. In addition, a Hydroboost braking system was added. Instead of vacuum from the engine, the Hydroboost utilizes the steering pump to activate the brakes. The result: This Blazer will stop on a dime with straight in-line braking. As you well know, it has a full fiberglass removable top. The 1972 Blazer stands out as a unique year, and this one gets looks and comments wherever she's taken. Thumbs-up, smiles, and comments are the norm. Good luck bidding! The winner gets one heck of a beautiful classic. PLEASE BE PATIENT. 40+ PHOTOS LOADING BELOW...
