Vehicle Detail

From the Sullivan collection. We just finished this '70 C model a few weeks ago. The frame and engine number match as well as the case numbers. Bobby bought this Triumph from an auction complete. It was then stripped down to the sludge tube. Everything was inspected and replaced as needed. All new seals and bearings were installed. Frame was painted by Garry Chitwood. Tank paint was supplied and applied by Don Hutchinson Cycles. Oil tank and side cover were painted by the Shadley Brothers. All chrome parts and polishing was done by Graves Plating. Most of the collection consists of museum quality Triumphs. This Trophy does not dissapoint. This bike has not been started but it is ready to be. All electrical is in working order. Can be serviced if the new owner so wishes but, as I said, it is a museum quality Triumph that should be on display in a livingroom. Please feel free to ask as many question as you want. Also check out or book listing on Ebay called Ultimate Triumph Collection: One Mans Obsession. The book features all Of Bobby's Triumphs. There are people who will tell you that the 1970 Trophy was one of the landmark Triumph motorcycles; one of the most well developed and stylish classics, and one of the very best to own and ride today. There are other people who will tell you that the single-carb TR6 of the very late 1960s was and is a better bike to ride than the Bonneville of the same era (in the following breath they'll go on about the low-revving flexibility and clean carburation of the TR6, and the T120's harsher nature, by which time you'll be wondering whether now is an appropriate time to leave the planet). And there are even people who will tell you that the American specification TR6C, with its slim tank and high pipes is the most handsome, the most desirable, and the most luscious of the lot.
