This bike is in excellent shape. Senior owned from new and it has been babied, never hit the red line as it has so much midrange no need to rev past 7000 rpm. Has Michelin pilot pures with about half the tread left. Had a low side at slow speed a few years ago and have replaced the right lower fairing with a new factory part, but have not replaced the upper--has a crack and some scuffing on the right upper edge. A few small scrapes on the gas tank, hardly noticeable. If the upper is replaced this would be one of the cleanest gsxr's around. It was spotless before the low side and I felt terrible about dropping it. The bike may be 12 yrs old, but it still does not suffer fools lightly and too much throttle while leaned over will see you on the ground. This is a very fast bike despite its age and will keep up with anything when the going gets twisty.
