1958 Ford Fairlane Six Series Business Coupe : Ford produced a total of (4062) 2 door sedan business coupes in 1958 and your viewing one of the remaining few left today .Yes, this is the car with only a " parcel tray " in the back seat area and non-op rear windows . The old school Hot Rod Ford guys know what they're seeing here is not your typical Fairlane or Custom 300 .This is a California black plate survivor car and it'd be nearly impossible to find a nicer original , unrestored 1958 Ford Fairlane Business coupe anywhere . This car is EXTREMELY STRAIGHT , SOLID , and CLEAN . The engine , transmission and drivetrain are all in good condition and function as they should with no knocking , pulling , leaking ,or other major issues . The car looks to have had a freshening up somewhere around the mid 90's and has held up extremely well . This car runs and drives straight down the road in city traffic as well as highway speeds with no troubles , but should be completely gone through before driving any distance as it has been sitting , untouched , in a San Francisco garage for many years . The floors and undercarriage are the original Henry Ford steel and are rust free and in excellent condition .The interior , body panels , and all trim are in very good to excellent condition needing only minor body / paint touch up and a good detailing to make her a show worthy driver again . Bumpers and trim are absolutely straight and showing only very light surface rust and will polish out nicely ( grill surround trim and taillight panels will most likely need rechromed as they do have some light pitting ). This is an original California black licence plate car showing its been a California car all its life . Would make an easy era correct Gasser or Hot Rod project too !!
