Vehicle Detail

Up for auction/sale is my 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. This is a no reserve auction and I am NOT interested in any trades. This car has its factory original 440 V8, Torqueflite trans, and 8.75 SureGrip rearend. This is a one owner car with 46,xxx original miles. When you sign the clear Ohio title, you will be the second owner. Please look at my feedback, I am an honest seller that simply enjoys old muscle cars. This car was sold new in Springfield OH at North Motors Mopar in April of 1968. Included with the car is the original 1968 yellow Ohio title and a current title signed and notorized. The original Certicard, owners manual, and several old receipts and registrations are also included. Even the small tag that hung on the ignition switch informing the new owner how to start the car is included. The original set of keys from 1968 still operate everything like they should. The doors lock and unlock, trunk pops, and ignition works all off of the factory keys. Following is the fender tag info..... Dodge Charger R/T 2 door Sports Hardtop 440 cid 4bbl HP 375hp V8 Tires F70x14 Red Sidewall Steel Belted Model Year 1968 Build Date March 06 Axle 3.23 Rear Axle Ratio, Sure Grip Interior Charger trim grade vinyl bucket seats Green Paint Metallic Avocado Green White Bumble-Bee Sports Stripes Drip Rail Molding...Body Belt Molding...Wheel Lip Moldings Power Brake...A.M. Radio...Tinted Front Windshield Center Front Seat....Bucket Seats...Hood Mounted Turn Signals...Drivers Outside remote operated mirror In 1982 this Charger was involved in a minor left front fender bender. The owner parked the car with plans to repair the damaged front left fender and it was forgotten about for the next 31 years. Early this year, the car was taken to the repair shop and received much work to get it back on the road. The entire brake system has been updated with new shoes, hardware kit, lines, cylinders, etc. The fuel system received a new tank and all new lines. The electric system received a new battery, alternator, starter, plugs, wires, Accel coil, etc, etc. This is a great running Charger and can be driven home at any distance. All the guages work, it carries great oil pressure, runs all day at 190 degrees, and tracks and brakes straight as the day it was new. Even the factory A.M. radio plays great! The new starter will require a little more work as far as the shims are concerned. Occasionally the starter drive wheel will ride on the fly wheel and make a spinning sound. I consider this car to be an honest survior and 70's time capsul. Its in remarkable condition and basically rust free with the exception of a 1/2 inch area on the drivers rocker. All the glass is in above average condition and windows roll up and down like new. The car has a beautiful patinaed interior smell and feel and I just couldn't bring myself to remove the 70's air brushing on the rear quarters. This is a factory Ziebart car and the floors, trunk pan, frame, torque boxes, etc. have no issues. The original red line spare tire from the trunk is currently bolted to the front pass. side of the car. Included; but not pictured, are the original 4 date code correct Magnum 500 sytle wheels the car left the dealership with. If you have any questions you can call or text me at 937-935-6178. My name is Shane. I require a $300. non- refundable deposit At Auction End. You have 2 weeks to pay me in full and get the car. I am happy to work with shippers if you set it up. If you come in person please bring cash. If you use a shipper, I prefer you transfer the funds from your bank to mine. Thanks for looking.
