1981 Suzuki DR500X in excellent condition. Bike starts, runs, and shifts great, has tons of torque & is fast, no smoke at all. I have disassembled the bike, inspected, cleaned and greased all pivots and moving parts. The following are the new parts and what has been done: New seat cover New UFO front & rear fenders New handlebars New clutch & brake levers New headlight switch New throttle tube & grips New fork seals, fork leg dust seals & oil New brake shoes New air filter New tank stickers Near new front & rear Dunlops New sprockets, chain, & chain rollers Swingarm bearings cleaned & regreased Steering head bearings cleaned & regreased Carb cleaned & rebuilt Balancer & cam chain adjusted Valve clearance checked New stator cover gasket New oil filter & oil New fuel filter Clarke gas tank This bike is a low hour survivor. It still has the original side covers, exhaust, headlight, tail light, & trip meter. This bike needs nothing other than gas and a rider to go riding. No junk here, bike is very nice. I am selling the bike because I have too many bikes and I don't want to leave this bike stored outside, it's too nice. Asking price dropped again to $1200 obo, and all reasonable offers will be considered. I do not have a title and bike is currently not registered, but I will provide a bill of sale. Registration would be OHV + fees. Mileage is listed as 100, but I don't know what actual mileage is. Payment must be paid via PayPal or cash on pickup within 7 days of auction end.
