Shop Truck” Selling this 1949 Chevy Truck for my buddy, Javier who owns a the well known Tattoo & Co. shop located in Miami Florida. His shops website: www.tattoandco.com About 8 years ago he made did a tattoo of an old Chevy Truck on one of his good clients. During the session they talked a lot about mutual passion the Client & Javier had for these beautiful trucks. After completing the tattoo his client was filled with such gratitude told Javier that he would let him have one of 3 old Chevy Trucks which he had been storing for years in his farm as a gift in order for Javier to fulfill his dream. Javier thought this would be a great way to promote his business and decided to hire Yaril Quintana a well know builder from Yaril’s Custom Works. Yaril spend close to 2 years in the build always with a idea of having a Nostalgic looking car with upgrade drive-train. Javier drives it to tattoo conventions and to his shop almost every day. The old Chevy truck body sits over an S-10 chassis with full air and a SBC 350 with overdrive Automatic Transmission. The body was painted and treated to look as close to Natural Patina as possible, and to take the wear and tear of daily use. The inside was made n fresh with new look. How does it drive? It drives smooth and strong. Definitely a cruiser at about 55-85mphs, Drives straight as an arrow with 1 finger on the wheel. Build Finish Date: Approximately 2 Years Ago. Pretty Much every Nut & Bolt was new upon completion. Daily Driver ever since and has less than 8K miles since finished..... Motor: Fully Rebuilt Chevy 350 v8 Cooling: Driving temperature is about 200 degree. High performance electric fan, Copper Radiator. Exhaust: Stainless Steel Power Steering: Yes, Chevy Hyper Performance Transmission: Fully Rebuilt Turbo 400 Paint: Hunter Green with an Oxidized Treatment to give it the Rat Rod Look Body: Original Chevy 3100, which was purposely left with imperfections, dents, creases, and holes, to give it the original a Patina look, but treated to stop the rusting process. New Floors, New Cab Corners, Completely refurbished, Glass: Windshield, Rear Glass in Perfect Condition, Driver & Passenger were have cracks (rat rod look), but they do Roll Up & Down as they should. Wheels: 16” Chrome Smoothies Tires: ­­­­White Wall Coker Tires with about 85% thread still left. Brakes: 4 Wheel Disc Brakes with New Lines, brake pads were changed about 1 year ago. Lights: Headlight (low & high), Brake, & Dash Lights work, No Turn Signals Gauges: Brand New operational Original Gauges: Gas, Speedometer, & Oil all work. Temperature was not hook up but an additional gauge was installed Interior: Green and White Leather, White has gotten dirty with the daily use and you may want to re-dye it. Air Ride: Brand New Full Air Suspension, 2 Vair Compressors, with a 10 Gallon Tank. Frame: 1989 Chevy S10, Rust Treatment, Sanded and Painted Title: As a 1949, Florida Title under Javier's Name Sold As-Is Javier asked me to conduct answering any question and the transaction, because of my experience.
