Vehicle Detail

This is a Diesel 4x4 F350. NH does not title vehicles of this age. Ignore "clear title" above because there is not title. As far as I know it would be clear if there was a title. This truck is registered in NH but has no title. NH does not title vehicles of this age. You will be given a signed over current registration (Good until December 2013) and a bill of sale. Please contact your local government if in another state about registering with this paperwork. I know MA will accept signed over registrations and bills of sale from NH when the vehicle is this age. Well after 50+ emails on craigslist and numerous phone calls only 1 person came to look at the truck and wanted a parts truck. Despite the interest, I have placed the truck on Ebay because I don't have time to continue the selling game. The reserve is low. If you don't want to buy it, don't bid. Plan on taking the vehicle away on Sunday, April 14. This is the next time I will be in NH and can take care of the paperwork. Please don’t waste my time if you are not serious about the truck. Please read the entire ad before emailing me. Please leave your phone number. I don’t want to exchange endless emails. This is hands down the best truck I have ever owner. The house where I stored my larger boat is sold. The loss of storage plus fuel costs on a twin engine boat drove me to selling it. I sold the boat a few weeks and no longer need this truck. This is a 1988 Ford F-350 4x4 7.3L Diesel XLT. 8 foot bed with liner. I don’t know the mileage because Ford does not have a hundred thousand counter on the odometer. It reads 71,xxx. The truck runs fantastic. I would drive to Florida tomorrow and drove to Connecticut just the other week. Keep in mind this truck is 25 years old. Minus a few items listed below it is in good condition. As far as I know it has never been plowed with. The tires are 90%+ and great. The 4x4 works flawlessly. The transmission shifts properly and as smooth as they did back in the 80’s. The engine runs great. The brakes and front end are tight and good. The engine starts in single digit temperatures when you plug in the block heater. Once again it is a great tuck but without the 26’ boat I don’t need such an HD truck anymore. The items that could be considered wrong: 1) Needs driver side rocker panel. I have one but have not welded it in yet. The truck is currently registered and insured. Other smaller items with the truck: 1) Has an oil pan leak. All the old 7.3L Diesels do. It does not affect oil pressure, and you can definitely drive long distances without worry. You don’t need to check the oil every day but there is a leak nonetheless. It looks bad if you park on pavement, but the pan holds 15 quarts. 2) The fuel gauge no longer reads. Both tanks work (dual tanks), and the truck runs great. I just use the tripometer to figure fuel levels in tanks and it has not bothered me. 3) The driver side front fender is dented. Not smashed, but has a dent in it. I am trying to be as open and honest as possible. This is a fantastic truck. I have kept it up over the years and it is inexpensive to maintain. In the past few years I’ve replaced as needed the alternator, batteries (2 for cold weather starts), starter, tires, block heater, engine coolant, power brake booster, vacuum pump, wiper motor, and more. I have been proactive with these items, and the truck has never left me at the side of the road. All items were inexpensive and fairly easy to replace. I replaced the start just a month ago. The truck is not perfect but a great work truck. Please email me with any questions. NO WARRANTY. NO TRADES. PAY IN FULL SUNDAY APRIL 14. This is the next time I will be in NH and can handle paperwork. Thank you for your interest. This is not a Dodge Ram with a cummins diesel, or a Chevy / Chevrolet Silverado with a Duramax diesel, or a GMC Sierra with a big block. On Apr-04-13 at 05:24:28 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE! Truck has 271,xxx miles on it. NOT 71,999. As I note in the description, I did not know the mileage, but Atuocheck shows that it is 271,xxx. DO NOT BACK OUT if you are the highest bidder and say that you thought the truck only had 71,999 miles on it. Thank you.
