Truly a barn find, well actually a storage garage find. This 1973 Honda 350F has been in storage since 1982 as evidenced by the VA tag on it. Also the last registration shows 1982. This bike is as original as an 8200 miles bike can get. It has the original Flake Matador Red paint scheme that is usually faded out over time but not here. Didn’t take much to clean it up. The metal flake doesn’t show up in the pictures but is the true “metal flake” of the period. The 3 color paint can be found at http://www.scribd.com/doc/116530276/Paint-Colors . Seat, lenses, everything all original. Even has the 2 original keys as well as tools and owner’s manual. All fluids, oil, gas, brakes have been drained. I cleaned and sealed the gas tank. The tires are original but are badly checked so need replacement. Here is what needs to be done: replace all fluids, clean carburetors (gummed gas prevents them from opening all the way), replace tires, repaint all black frame members(optional). The motor kicks over with excellent compression. I attached a battery and all the electrics including the starter work. The flasher unit should be replaced. The worst paint is the fork covers as pictured. Not sure how the one side got peppered. The fork covers are the red body color with no flake in it. I believe that was original paint scheme. The tank had some pinstriping at one time.The original header/mufflers look great but there is a rust hole under the one pipe where the 2 pipes join. Can be easily repaired without showing. Ride it as is or restore it. Open Virginia title on this bike. Sold with title and bill of sale. I have described this bike as honestly as I can. No surprises. I will be attending the AMCA meet in Oley, PA on April 25,26,27. I can deliver or meet you on the east coast (FL to PA) for some gas money on that trip. Payment in full prior to transport.
