Hello – This is a 1962 Rambler American 400 Convertible - Awsome restoration project Project car only owned by 2 owners - Vehicle comes with 2nd bill of sale from 1969 This vehicle sat in a garage for 18 years in south Jersey and then was sold to a man who started the restoration but then stopped. This car is a super RUST FREE project – super clean - Body is straight with no bondo Frame is super solid with 0 rust. Great father son project I have recently ran out of garage space which forces me to sell the car. The car runs and the transmission engages – The gas in the tank is old (still solid holding gas) so I started it with a jug of gas to a fuel line in the engine compartment – but it is a running car. will need tune up All of the glass is in the doors intact and works like it should. Original 75000 miles. Frame for power roof all there but will need a new canvas. The door jambs and underhood had been painted as part of the restoration. The pictures speak for themselves – I havent seen a rust free car of this age in some time – there are no holes in any place on this car. It has a dent on the top of the left fender and a smaller dent in the passenger side quarter panel – besides that it is super super CLEAN!! You wont find a cleaner car around this age - Feel free to call me or set up a time to come take a look if you are near by and interested – Could be a wonderful spring project – I have an extra door also – car is missing back seat – but all other parts come with car to complete the build.
