Vehicle Detail
**Update - I have received a standing offer of $6500. WILL NOT RE-LIST at lower price... $6500 is rock bottom, hence no reserve price. Car is worth well over this, and I know it. Don't let this pass by** Up next on the eBay auction block is my, very clean, 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, rolling chassis, set up for a LS engine, over $8000 in receipts included with car… Following is a list of some of the things I can think of off the top of my head, sure I’m forgetting some:Chassis: 4 wheel power disc brake conversion Bilstein gas shocks all around Front and rear sway bars Polyurethane bushings Body: Glass is all in perfect condition2" steel cowl hoodFiberglass front fenders Very straight, California carSP by ROH 17" Racing Rims275/40/ZR17 rear tires225/45/ZR17 front tires Paint: Like 3 years old, some chips/scratches… was my daily driver.I like it though, dark Blue Grey, with Flat black hood... Interior: Fully brand new interior from carpet to headliner IDIDIT tilt steering column Grant racing steering wheel Procar by Scat racing bucket seats B&M ratchet shifter Speakers in front kick panels as well as rear tray… believe they are pioneers Electrical: Painless body wiring harness Painless LS1 engine wiring harness MSD Tach Driver New fuse boxes Autometer Gauges: speedo, tach, voltmeter, oil pressure, fuel level, and fuel pressure. CD player in glove box Electric trunk popper Remote start Car alarmFully wired for an LS engineFully wired for battery relocation to trunkFully wired for Amp and Subwoofer in trunk Misc.: LOKAR throttle cable Flex-a-lite electric fan Be Cool Aluminum Radiator W/ custom overflow reservoirTransmission cooler History with me: I had a friend buy this Chevelle for me about a year and a half ago, while I was stationed in Iraq. At the time it had an LS1 and 4L60e for the powertrain, he drove the car from southern California, Where the car had lived from production to this point in the story, to Phoenix, AZ. Upon my arrival back to the United States, I picked up the car and headed cross country to Ridgely, MD, where it has been since. I fell on hard times since being back, hence my decision to sell the vehicle. However, I am attempting to start a performance engine building shop, being the reason I took out the LS1 and trans, they will be fully built and for sale on my eBay store shortly…. Car to be sold as-is... Sorry for trunk being open in pics, there is no battery in the car and has electric trunk opener... Also, last pic is of when LS1 was still in the vehicle... No wires, lines, or hoses were cut during the removal of the engine and trans... You can pick up a good low mileage used 5.3 LS style engine with all accessories and a 4L60e trans, for $500-$1000, and have yourself one bad-ass driver. I was getting 18-25 mpg average with the LS1, and it was running in limp mode... Reserve the right to end auction early due to local sale...
