Vehicle Description We recently purchased this 2008 PT Cruiser from the insurance company claiming flood damage. It comes with a NY salvage title/certificate(907a).  Careful inspection showed that water has not gone higher than the carpets on the cabin floor so - there's no damage to electrical components inside the cabin. Since water was so low off the ground it did not enter the engine or the transmission. Both are in perfect working condition. One minor issue that needs to be addressed  is the airbag sensor which needs to be reset or replaced. All other electronic components work and the car runs great. Just get in and drive!  Outside this car was briefly immersed in shallow water - this short exposure did not result in any exterior water damage. This is a perfect car for anyone looking for a headache free ride. There were quarter of million vehicles affected by the recent hurricane Sandy. Due to enormous volume of insurance claims.
