Vehicle Detail

This is a 1965 Fastback Mustang, Project car. I have owned this car since 2007 and have alot more invested than the reserve price. The car starts, runs, drives and brakes to the point it can be moved around. The motor runs fine and the 4 speed shifts as it should. It came to me as a new built 351 Cleveland engine bored .30 over with steel crank, comp cam, a.r.p. bolts, eagle rods, forged pistons, roller rockers, edelbrock performer intake, 600 holley carb, full length hooker headers, canton 7qt oil pan, also new at the time, aluminum radiator, march serpentine pulleys, electric fan, new fuel tank, new rear suspension, leaf springs. The front end is a Rod and Custom Motor Sports rack and pinion set up with disc brakes up front and adjustable coil springs. It allowed for the shock towers to be removed. The car has a very nice stance. Bullitt rims with new eagle talon, 245/45/17 tires. I want to stress the parts listed were new in 2007, the car has been sitting, garage kept since then. as part of a proper restoration, I would want to remove and repaint motor and other paintable parts. I do start it every so often, to move it around but don't run it long because there are no guages hooked up. It does steer, but the steering will need final alignment and some column parts. It has a nice Lecarra steering wheel. There was no reason to tear the motor down, so I can,t verify the listed inner engine parts. I still have the original ebay add from the previous owner, that Iisted all parts. The interior is currently apart and incomplete, but all available parts will be included. The seats were recovered by the previous owner. I would redo. It will need a new head liner. The black carpet is in good shape and can still be used. The rear fastback interior panels are there. Most of the dash and under dash parts are missing. Interior door and window handles are missing. In 2012, I had the rear quarters, inner, outer wheel houses, trunk drops rear frame extensions, trunk floor and upper tail light panel, all professionally replaced. The lower tail panel still needs done. The floor pans and torque boxes are solid and not thought to need replaced. The rear chrome bumper is very nice. The front bumper is a fiber glass shelby. There is a hood, hood scoop, and hinges that are off the car but, included. This car has very good bones and is ready to be taken to the next level. All big dollar items have already been done. There is alot of information here and it's easy to miss some points so please view the pictures added and don't hesitate to email any specific questions, so there are no misunderstandings. Payment by the winning bidder must be certified check, received within 5 days of auction end. The check must clear my account before I can release the car. The buyer will be responsible for shipping arangements, with my cooperation of pick up from my address.
