Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a very nice condition 1983 Honda ATC 110. I took this machine in on trade from an older gentleman who told me he bought it new in 1984. It was bought for his 15 year old grandson to ride on the weekends at their horse farm. 1-1/2 weeks after it was bought, his grandson popped a wheelie on it without a helmet, and went over backwards ending up with 14 stitches. Mom immediately put an end to it and the 110 was put into a tack shop where it sat until 2013. I am a collector of Honda 90s and 110s. So I am aware of some of the common issues that plague 110s, none of which this one has. If it were 1983 I could just tell you this is a demo, and sell it as new. But since it has been 30 years since this machine was built all I can tell you is the there is a very small cut in the back of the seat approximately ¾” long, there are a few small scratches where the rear fenders attach, “normal wear”. The wheels have a very small amount of surface rust here and there and a few small scratches on the backside of the rear grab bar along with a few misc scuffs on the front edge of the rear fenders from where the backside of your jeans would rest during normal riding. The tires are the original Ohatsu tires and amazingly have no dry-rot, the inside of the gas tank is extremely clean, and the bottom of the seat pan looks brand new. All of these areas are excellent. I imagine this machines excellent condition is probably attributed to being in a climate controlled Tack room since it was new. There are NO dents on the gas tank, all the factory decals are excellent, the on/off switch works as it should, the headlight high and low work fine, as does the taillight. If you are not unfamiliar with these machines, they have a four speed manual transmission with an automatic clutch, they also have high and low range and the automatic clutch makes these machines very easy to operate. The design of this engine has been used in many of Hondas other products and has a very good track record for power, economy and longevity. I am only parting with this machine to generate revenue for another machine. Here is a short youtube video of this machine so you can see and hear it in 360 degrees. www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7XF0nBu9no&list=HL1364173428&feature=mh_lolz Feel free to ask questions. No Deadbeat Hyenas. International buyers are always welcome. I wil be happy to band this to a pallet, or even build a custom crate and ship this anywhere in the USA or your overseas broker. See below info. Please NOTE all of the items I sell on eBay are considered to be antiques. They are not new, and are sold as is, and carry NO warranty. Please read the item description, I work really hard to tell it like it is, so we are both happy with our eBay experience. Every attempt has been made to describe them accurately and thoroughly without boring my audience. I am NOT considered to be an expert on this item, so please feel free to ask questions before you bid. I will do my best to answer all questions. eBay’s shipping calculator is for reference only, it is not the gospel. If you see a shipping price that looks unreasonable please feel free to contact me. I charge actual shipping and crating cost, what it cost me is what you pay. I have experience with shipping larger heavy items with good success, but it takes time to prepare them so please be patient. I am always willing to build a wooden shipping crate/container to help your item avoid damages, but please note this option takes extra time and is NOT free of charge.
