Offered for sale is an old original Triumph motorcycle that I bought from a friend's estate back in '06, and stored under cover in my garage since. My friend was an engineer so kept his toys in perfect order including a couple of old MG sports cars, which I couldn't afford at the time, so I bought his bike with intentions of riding. Well, I never got it registered, or even got my motorcycle riders license required in my state, so here it sits. The battery was dead when I got it, so I have never actually started or ridden this bike, so I expect if it's like my British cars it may need the old gas changed or a carb cleaning before running, but I'm sure it was in top notch running shape when Harold passed back around late '05. I actually bought a battery for it last year with intentions to get it going and it is still in the box! Hey, I'm a British car nut, but not so much into the bikes...sorry. I know nothing about them except they're neat to look at. (And take up less room than a Triumph car!) But then, my waning interest gives you this rare opportunity! As you see, it is back in a corner of the garage, surrounded by parts, and dusty! I shot a few photos for your viewing pleasure. It's got its original tank, paint, and seat, and probably everything else as I'd expect of a meticulous owner like Harold was. The only thing I noticed was that there are a few litte surface rust spots on the exhaust, so I assume this is contagious and the bike caught it from the old rusted British car it sits next to! LOL! I rubbed a little polish on one side you'll see and some of it came off, but I'll let you finish...that's part of the fun of getting an old garage find! Bid to buy...no warranties offered but it shouldn't be hard to get going! See my feedback if you have concerns. Ask any questions or even better, come see it! I'll inspect any areas you want me to look at, but don't ask me any technical questions because it is not my area of expertise! Looks like a good old original condition bike to me, and I have the history of mileage that indicates it should be actual. I'll need a $500 Paypal deposit upon auction end, and full payment by 10 days, with pickup within 3 weeks unless we work out something prior to end of auction to store it for you for awhile.
