1972 Formula 400, Factory 4 speed, A/C - Runs Great - Matching #s I am selling this for a friend from junior high school who has had this car for 20+ years, but faces loosing his home & must sell his treasured project. It was stored covered in a carport & driven every few months. This1972 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 has its original engine with 75,000 miles. Its the "T" series which is the 400 c.i.d., 4 bbl, with dual exhaust which is the 250 horse-power motor. The vin # is: 2U87T2N523254 = factory 4 speed with air conditioning, making this a highly desirable restoration. The car is 95% complete, part of the console(the padded armrest/storage box are included), the air cleaner, & the front lower cowl(gravel guard under the nose) are missing. There are 2 air cleaners included, one is off a 455. This car has no bondo, its sanded to the metal & primered. The areas with rust are: the roof(pits, no holes), the back of the rear wheel wells(the one pictured is the worst side), the front & rear windows do have some rust, but nothing major. The frame, interior floors & the trunk are solid. The fiberglass hood has some cracked & broken louvers. There are many, many extra parts that come with the car that he has collected(Carb, manifold, heads, extra trim & much more).
