1980 Jeep CJ7 . - This rig has a 4.2 (258 cubic inch) inline 6 cylinder engine. It has a new weber carburator, new rims and tires, and though the spare tire rack is not pictured, I do have it with a spare tire on it. - It has new carpeting, and the seats are fresh but not brand new. - The transmission is a Borg-Warner (T-4) 4 speed with a Dana 300 transfer case and Dana 30 narrow track axles. - The body is all metal and is straight. It will need pans in it's future as this is an older vehicle, but finding an affordable all metal Jeep is hard to do, so here you go. - The motor, transmission, and clutch are very strong, and the 4 wheel drive works great. I wish I had the time and place to tinker with it more. I bought this Jeep as a toy and was looking for something affordable that I could work on and cruise the beach areas in. I have several vehicles and need to sell one as I am retiring this year and don't have the time nor resources to maintain. This CJ may not be as perfect as others you will find for sale, but for this price, it has the potential to be like the ones you will find on this site that are selling for crazy amounts of cash with a little TLC. It is fun to drive and needs a home where it can receive the TLC from someone who has the space, time, and a little bit of knowledge for it. Buyer will need to make a PayPal deposit of $500 at the end of the sale, and will need to make arrangements for transportation of this vehicle. I will drive it within reason somewhere local to meet your transporter, but the final amount of the sale will need to be made prior to me releasing the vehicle. Title is clear and I will USPS Priority to you upon receipt of full payment. This is a used vehicle so there is obviously no warranty. Vehicle is sold in as is condition, and the sale is final.
