This is one of only 5,718 '66 Riviera Gran Sports. This is an own owner car that has spent its whole life right here in Phoenix, Arizona. It was sold new at Childress Buick right here in Phoenix, AZ and comes with its original purchase order, warrantee book, protect-o-plate, maintenance records and tons of other documents. This is the right car to own, as it is almost completely all original with mostly original paint and all original interior. When do ever find cars like this anymore? It has its original, #'s matching 425ci 340hp "Nailhead" engine with factory air conditioning that blows ice cold. This car has spent its whole life in Arizona and is totally rust free. It has mostly all original paint ordered in Shell Beige that really looks very good for its age and is fine for a driver. The paint has a couple minor flaws like some minor crazing and a couple small chips that have been touched up, but other than that it looks great. To be absolutely perfect it would need to be painted. The body is straight as an arrow and totally solid as a rock and rust free. All of the chrome and trim is in very nice original condition. It also has all original rubbers throughout the car that have got hard and dried up over the years. The underside of the car is very clean and solid. The parchment interior is all original right down to the carpeting and looks great. The dash and gauge cluster looks excellent. Even the steering wheel is in great condition. The center console wood grain is the only thing that would need to be replaced. Everything works perfectly in the car including the gauges and lights. The original radio is the only thing that doesn't work but is an easy fix. Inside the trunk is all original but shows its age a touch. Mechanically, this '66 Riviera is in excellent condition. It has its correct, #'s matching 425ci 340hp "Nailhead" engine with factory air conditioning that blows ice cold. Under the hood is very clean and original with all its original stickers and markings. It truly runs and drives like a 59K original mile car. This is one very fun car to go cruising in!
