For sale is my 1950 Ford F1 Truck, chopped, narrowed and body dropped on a custom built chassis. Current Ohio title in my name registered the original body vin on the cab. Almost everything on the truck was purchased new or rebuilt when I built it in 2010. It runs and drives reliably and I haven’t had any issues with it on road trips. The truck has been turn key with no issues, and I have put a little over 15k miles on it. The truck cruises nice on the highway, with the tire size, rear end gear, and overdrive with converter lockup it turns around 2000 rpm at 70mph and can get over 16 mpg.The frame is 2x4 3/16 wall steel, with step-ups in the front and rear. The front suspension is a 46 Ford axle with rebuilt kingpins, new drop leaf, new shackles, and new shocks. The rear is a 4 link air ride setup with new bags, bushings, link bars, and shocks. The rear end is a 373 posi from a 4x4 S10. Firestone bags, with a Viair compressor.New vega steering box with all new draglinks and tie rod ends. The truck drives and steers very tight, brakes stop excellent.Rebuilt drum brakes with new wheel bearings on all 4 wheels. All the brake lines are new as well. Brand new Coker tires all the way around, 15 inch chevy wheels in the rear, and 16 inch ford wheels up front.The engine is a stock rebuilt 72 4 bolt 350. Stock bore still, new rings, bearing, gaskets, oil pump, mild cam and lifters, Edelbrock torqer intake with edelbrock 600 carb, new msd hei distributor. The radiator is a new Aluminum Griffin. The transmission is a 700r4 with shift kit. Also new are the alternator, water pump, fuel pump and aftermarket ministarter.The exhaust has removable baffles at the ends to go open header. The front windshield is real glass, interior has new working speedo and tach, oil, temp, and volt gauges, S10 bench seat, manual valves for the air ride, and nice loud air horns. The chop isn’t perfect, the doors don’t line up 100 percent, but they do open and close fine.
