Last purchased in June 2007 in Asheville, NC the original sale location of the car. The car remained in Asheville until I purchased it. It was originally sold by Matthews Ford in Asheville, original keychain is still with the car. It was driven sparsely by the original owner for 2 or 3 years and sold to a young man in Asheville, apparently an acquaintance of the family. The second owner drove the car for several years, had it repainted (with original factory color) stored the vehicle for the next 25 years. It was then turned over to a neighbor who cleaned it up, replaced the carpets, seats, and trunk liner, repainted the engine where needed and sold to me. The miles on the car are ORIGINAL MILES. I made several improvements to the vehicle in the last 5 ½ years. All with receipts. I replaced the wiring kit in 2007 as several instruments were not working and some wiring was exposed. All instruments are in working order except the gas gauge which is not always accurate, but does work. Electronic ignition kit and coil were added along with a new Holley carb and transmission shift modulator. A new AM/FM radio was installed, designed to look like a 1967 and twin cone speakers installed under the dash. I have the original AM radio, still in good working condition. New boot cover. New rear axle seals, idler arm, heavy duty rear shocks, new horn ring, steering wheel outer replaced with original horn button intact, new transmission vacuum seals and new piston seals. New speedometer cable. New halogen headlights (original look) Convertible top lift cylinder replaced, fuel line, all brakes replaced along with master cylinders and new brake lines. Repainted entire 2/3 front of the car with matched paint after front end was slightly damaged while parked (police car backed into it) and insurance allowed the paint job. I have driven the car for 4,000 miles since I purchased it, mainly a Sunday ice cream with the family car. Too many cars in the driveway and now I must part with it. This car is as clean as it gets and is a reliable daily driverCar is located in my garage in Atlanta GA
