1969 Pace Car Camaro Rally Sport / Super Sport Indy 500 This is a Regular Production Option (RPO) Z11 vehicle. Chevrolet would build 3,675 Camaros with the Z11 option as Pace Car replicas. Out of these 3,675 10% to 15% it is believed, brought the 396 motor or 300 to 500 vehicles total. This is one of those that brought the 396 motor. This is a beautiful, genuine Z11Camaro Indy Pace Car with the big block 396/350 HP engine and turbo hydromatic 400 transmission, cowl induction hood, 12 bolt 3:55 rear end, power disc brakes, power steering, chrome factory valve covers on engine, cowl induction hood, correct cowl induction air system underneath the hood, also has solenoid activation for the cowl induction, power (works very smoothly) top, console with working gauges, endura front bumper, front and rear spoiler package, 14 x7 factory rally wheels, original interior, rose wood accents on interior and steering wheel. All information and options are below. Original type factory transverse muffler with factory dual exhaust. This car has only 69,000 +/- Original Miles. Was restored over 10 years ago, from top to bottom. Nothing was overlooked. Recently the car has received a new top, with a glass window, hydraulic hoses, cylinders and motor. The trunk area has been detailed to perfection and has what looks like to be a original Firestone Wide Oval F 70-14 spare tire. I believe it has the factory original shock absorbers. Wipers work, lights open and close properly. It still sports its original interior. Has the two optional outside rearview mirrors. Additionally all the regular maintenance items have been replaced. Performed flawlessly on the 2011 Hot Rod tour from Florida to Michigan. No rust what so ever, paint is overall good but is does have small (look at pictures) imperfections from regular use. Other wise it looks like the car was dipped in porcelain. The undercarriage is extremely clean, I would say that someone took time to clean and detail it properly.
